Autumn is slowly approaching and the flower borders are beginning to show signs of wear and tear, although the dahlias are still putting on an amazing show. It was good to take a few hours off and go for a wander with the camera for some outdoor photography in the borders of Calke Abbey. The wild flower borders have put on an ever changing display this season and are slowly declining, however they are still a riot of colour, if a little faded at the edges. Many years ago film cameras took steps to avoid the mistake of multiple exposures of the same piece of film. The Canon 5D MkIII however allows a whole variety of multi exposure options in camera, as will be seen in some of the images below, combined with some more traditional close-ups, as I sought to reflect the many colours and scents of the early Autumn borders.
